So we thought it would be useful to highlight 10 amazing jobs at 10 of the best young startups based in London.


Teamly – CTO and Head of Development
This early-stage funded TechHub based startup is looking for someone with both ideas and the ability to implement them and has at least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails. Additionally they need evidence that you have experience in scaling a high performance web app, are comfortable with system administration and have good skills with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git and Ruby test frameworks.

Teamly are also looking for a Junior Ruby Developer to join the growing team.

Huddle – Developer
This top 50 new start-up company is looking for Developers with 3 years experience of C# code, capable of making design decisions and advancing the company’s product line. Individuals need to be confident with design, development and maintenance of large ASP.net apps and have commercial experience with Scrum, XP or similar systems.

HouseTrip.com – Online Marketing Assistant
The primary responsibility is to support the Performance Marketing Manager in planning, implementing, analysing and optimising HouseTrip’s digital marketing campaigns. This role will mainly focus on developing, analysing and optimising HouseTrip’s paid search, display and social media activities based on the business’s targets and the performance marketing strategy.

GlobalDev – Software Engineers
This growing online company is looking for expert software engineers to help build a series of major enhancements to their dating platform and infrastructure over the next 12 months. You must have worked on high availability transactional systems, have proven experience of building high availability, large-scale web apps and infrastructure and solid competency with MySQL and data caching strategies (such as memcached)

ArtFinder – Apprentice Programmers
You must be fluent in languages such as Python, Lua, Ruby or Smalltalk. You will be working in a small, friendly start-up company dealing with art website programming. Applicants must be comfortable with developing HTML or Javascript apps. Some experience building for the web or the internet is important, but they’re not expecting Internet Masters for their current roles.

Conversocial – Customer Account Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with excellent communication skills and relationship development experience. The role involves ensuring customers are getting the most out of their social networking and to increase customer awareness of the commercial potential of sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Conversocial are also recruiting for a Front End Designer and a Web Developer.

Last.fm – UX Developer
Last.fm are looking for a hot UX Developer who will join the Web team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the web site, mobile site and web services. The team is a mixture of back-end and front-end developers and collaborate closely with everyone in the company – from product, design and support, through to the infrastructure and commercial teams. You will be responsible for prototyping and building web features (in collaboration with the design and product teams) and adapting and improving existing journeys on Last.fm to improve the user experience.

MindCandy – Mini Games Developer
Mind Candy is headquartered in Shoreditch (London – near Silicon Roundabout) and develops new types of Multi-Player Online Games. This is a completely new role for Mind Candy and is a truly fantastic opportunity for a mini games developer to come in and make games. As our Mini Games Developer you will be joining a newly created team to design, develop and maintain our mini games portfolio and increase player acquisition and retention.


Skimlinks – Product Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative product manager to join an award-winning VC-backed start-up during its growth phase. They are looking for an up-and-coming Product Manager to take responsibility for the design and delivery of all aspects of the Skimlinks platform, from strategy through to product design, functional design, tech team liaison, delivery, launch and ongoing commercial management.

Mendeley – Lead Mobile Developer, iOS
Help develop and produce mobile software for one of London’s leading start-up companies. You must have at least 12 months experience working on Objective-C, iOS, Cocoa or Mac Development systems. Ideally you will possess a Computer Science or Engineering Degree and knowledge of C++ or Java. Their ideal candidate has already built and released an app into the App Store.
